建筑与城市规划学院组建于2016年，是贵州理工学院的二级教学机构，主要培养服务地方经济和社会发展的人文地理与城乡规划、环境设计、建筑学专业本科层次高素质应用型人才。

学院现有人文地理与城乡规划、环境设计、建筑学3个本科专业，分别于2016年、2017年和2020年开始招生，现有学生519人。学院拥有一支层次较高、素质优良的教师队伍，在编在岗教师32人。其中：省管专家1人，省政府特殊津贴1人，省青年创新人才1人；具有博士学位8人，在读博士4人，硕士学位14人；教授（正高职称）5人，副教授（副高职称）8人。聘请10名有行业背景的专家作为客座教授，另外聘有兼职教师5人。

学院已建成8个实验室，其中包括4个手绘实验室、1个GIS与规划设计实验室、1个模型制作实验室和2个环境设计专业教室（绘图室），在建1个设计与制图实验室和2个设计专业教室（绘图室），将拟建建筑物理、建筑材料、建筑构造、BIM实验室和3个设计工作室，可满足学院3个本科专业实验教学的需要。

贵州智慧旅游产业发展研究院挂靠学院。学院与贵阳建筑勘察设计有限公司、贵州深港中天建筑设计有限公司、贵州黄果树智慧旅游有限公司、贵州首钢国际工程技术有限公司、贵州岑瀚建筑集团、六盘水市规划设计研究院等9家企事业单位签订了合作协议或建立学生实习实践基地，为学生开展专业实习和社会实践提供平台。

 

The College of architecture and urban planning, established in 2016, is a constituent part of Guizhou Institute of technology. It mainly serves local economy and social development by educating high-quality, application-oriented and talented students. The college contains three major departments: Urban & Countryside Planning and Geography, Environmental Design and Architecture.

The college now has three undergraduate programs, Urban & Countryside Planning and Geography, Environmental Design and Architecture, which began to recruit students in 2016, 2017 and 2020, with 519 students. The college has a high-level and high-quality teaching staff, with 32 Teachers on the job. Among them, there are 1 provincial management expert, 1 provincial government special allowance, 1 provincial young innovative talents, 8 doctors, 4 doctors and 14 master's degrees, 5 professors (senior titles) and 8 associate professors (associate senior titles). Ten experts with industry background are invited as visiting professors, and five part-time teachers are employed.

The college has built eight laboratories, including four hand-painted laboratories, one GIS and planning and Design Laboratory, one model making laboratory and two environmental design professional classrooms (drawing rooms). One design and mapping laboratory and two design professional classrooms (drawing rooms) are under construction. The building physics, building materials, building structure, BIM laboratory and three design studios will be built It is necessary to have three major experiments in the college.

Guizhou smart Tourism Industry Development Research Institute affiliated college. The college has signed cooperation agreements with Guiyang Architectural Survey and Design Co., Ltd., Guizhou Shengang Zhongtian Architectural Design Co., Ltd., Guizhou Huangguoshu Intelligent Tourism Co., Ltd., Guizhou Shougang International Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., Guizhou cenhan construction group, Liupanshui planning and Design Institute and other 9 enterprises and institutions, or established student practice base to carry out professional practice and Social practice provides a platform.
